THEORY EXAM (Levels 3 – 12 only)

When:            Sunday, December 11, 2016

Where:           Sherwood Community Music School at Columbia College, 1312 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60605

PERFORMANCE EXAM (All Levels)

Levels 1A, 1B, 1C, and 2 Theory AND Performance are on the same day

Registration Deadlines:

Theory Levels 3 – 12: November 1, 2016
Performance Levels 1 – 12: February 1, 2017
Level 12 Repertoire must be submitted to Lynette Zelis (lzmusic@sbcglobal.net) by October 15, 2016
Levels 2 – 12 Repertoire substitution requests must be submitted to Lynette by January 15, 2017

For 2017, NO formal makeup exams will be offered.
Beginning in Fall 2017, teachers entering students will be required to volunteer.

Special Note: If you registered students for theory (levels 3-12) , the only payment necessary is either a non-volunteer fee or for registering students in levels 1-2 .  No payment necessary for levels 3-12.

      • Fees: Levels 1A – 2, $30; Levels 3 – 8, $35; Levels 9 – 12, $45 
      • Additional fees: $40 per student per event for teachers unable/unwilling to volunteer on test day.
      • Requirements are based on the 2014 syllabus. To purchase the syllabus and the Karen Rogers Workbooks, go to www.ismta.org.
      • Sam Licata Award: $100 to recognize those who complete Level 11 with scores of 85 in both Theory and Performance.
      • Sister Marjorie Delaplane Award: $150 to recognize those who complete Level 12 with minimum score of 85 in both Theory and Performance.

ONLINE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Teachers must first register themselves HERE.   Make note of the amount due!

2. Teachers should then register their students, each with their own individual form.

3. Pay online.  Teachers should pay for all of their students with one payment.  ONLINE BANKING is the preferred payment method for CAMTA, since there is no fee for the transaction. Please put AIM and the teacher name in the message field.
