WILLIAM BROWNING MEMORIAL – FOURTH ANNUAL PERFORMATHON

When: Sunday, November 11, 2018, 1:00-5:00pm
Where: Pianoforte Showroom, 900 N. Michigan Ave. Chicago
Performers: Teachers*, students, family members
Pianists, instrumentalists, singers may participate.
Second piano available for concertos or ensemble.
Music does not need to be memorized.
Students performing will be sharing their talent, dedication and enthusiasm to raise funds for the MTNA Foundation in honor of William Browning, revered Chicago pianist and teacher.
The MTNA Foundation provides
- Teacher education enrichment grants
- Matching grants for local associations
- Educational projects
- Community outreach
- MTNA performance and composition competitions
- Commissioning of new American music
Students need to be accompanied by a parent or adult proxy.
*Teachers do NOT need to attend for their student to participate.
Funds raised will be donated to the MTNA Foundation.
Students collecting $25 will receive a gift. Cash prize for the most money collected. Donations may be made by cash or check made out to the MTNA Foundation Fund are tax deductible.
Teachers sign up performers for one or more 10 minute slots.
A slot may be filled by one or more students.
Priority of selected time is determined by your registration date.
