Professional Development Grant

Purpose: CAMTA is committed to the lifelong pursuit of music education in all music disciplines and at all skill levels. This grant is to assist members in pursuing professional growth and updated skills.

Award: $300

Eligibility: CAMTA members in good standing (membership current)

Deadline: Received by November 1

The Professional Development Grant may be applied toward attending an MTNA or ISMTA conference, music workshop, technology class or toward a unique project.

Fill out the form to submit your grant application. Please write a short description of how you will use the grant and a summary of your background and activity with CAMTA. An e-mail confirmation will serve as your receipt of entry.

A decision will be announced by December 15.

CERTIFICATION

ISMTA members are invited to be certified by MTNA. Voluntary certification demonstrates to the community that CAMTA members are professional educators and musicians with high standards. Certification identifies teachers who are committed to excellence in teaching, continuing education for professional growth, and providing a wide variety of performance opportunities for their students.
